eofa and I are torturing each other with talk of Southern food.

It started with Waffle House and grits. We're up to chicken and dumplin's now. Then we got sidetracked talking about lard.

CANDY CORN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I also, of course, stocked up on the Tootsie Pop Caramel Apple Pops, but I've found that Target actually carries these through the year, now, so it's not quite as exciting as it used to be.)

Oh man. I got some white grapes from Food Lion. $0.99 a pound. Cheap as hell. Probably just your standard grape-y grapes, right?

These things are AWESOME. They taste like nectarines.

I want more, and I feel pretty certain that they will no longer have any. Bah.

You're not as good as I'd hoped you would be. That greasy cheese danish would have totally beaten you in flavor satisfaction. Why'd you have to let me down?
